We help scrap recycling companies with their management system challenges, focusing on ISO 9001, (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental), and OHSAS 18001 (safety) management.
Our clients
We have been independent consultants since 1995 with a roster of several dozen scrap recycling clients all over North America. These include:
- Multi-site scrap recycling operations
- Single-site processors (corporate and/or family owned)
- Brokers and dealers
- Metals, plastic, paper, glass
Our services
- For uncertified scrap recyclers, we provide implementation guidance that leads to certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 (environmental), and/or OHSAS 18001 (safety). We also equip scrap recyclers with integrated ISO-compliant management systems (Scrap/QES) that lead to triple certification to 9001, 14001, and 18001.
- For certified scrap recyclers, we provide support services such as internal audit training, contract internal auditing, management system transition and upgrade.
Our president
Rob Kantner, president of Kantner & Company, has been a management systems consultant since 1988, and first worked with a scrap recycling firm in 1993. He has provided numerous training seminars sponsored by Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI).
